EXTENDED DEADLINES: Abstracts will be accepted until october 15, 2012. Authors will be notified of their acceptance status by November 1, 2012.
- The conference language is English, and therefore all abstracts must be submitted in English.
- The Scientific Committee will review and evaluate all submitted abstracts. Acceptance for will be based on relevance to conference theme, scientific interest, and clarity of presentation, as well as a desire to address the array of Session topics for the conference.
- Students presentations will be judged for cash prizes of $250 for oral presentation - 1st prize, $100 oral presentation second prize, $100 first prize poster.
- For abstracts submitted requesting consideration for oral presentation, the Scientific Committee will determine if the submitted work will be accepted, and if it qualifies to be presented orally or by poster.
- All presenters are expected to submit a full paper (or an extended abstract) to be published in an online Conference Proceedings. Final submissions are due to the conference organizers by March 1, 2013, otherwise, the abstract will be published as previously submitted. Formatting guidelines will be announced at a later date.
- Please note that for all accepted abstracts, at least one author must register for participation at the conference. Presenting authors of accepted abstracts are required to register for the Conference by November 1, 2012. Abstracts for which no registration has been made will not be published in the Conference Proceedings.
- Abstracts must be submitted online through the conference website. Do not fax, mail or email your abstract as it will not be considered.
- Abstracts are submitted in the electronic form provided the registration area where authors should follow the instructions provided. No pre-specified abstract format is required beside the word count limits enforced in the electronic form. For each author, first and last names, e-mail and affiliation are required. A maximum of 6 authors per abstract submission. Up to 12 authors can be listed when the final abstract and paper are submitted.
