Description:

Participants will learn the basics of landscape designing with native plants, with a tour of native plants at the arboretum, as well as combating non-native invasive species.  Protection, care, and planting of landscape trees will be discussed, including topics such as pruning, mulching, and hazard trees.  General information on managing ponds, stormwater, and stream banks will also be presented.
